POSITION: Crew Lead
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct company representative for on-site customer projects. Includes issues management and escalation
- Personnel management including field labour supervision, assistance and training, safety standards enforcement and administration
- Initiate formal report to the project manager on a daily/weekly basis
- Equipment maintenance and resource management, including additional labour procurement when required.
- Quality control and standards assurance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven leadership and strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively motivate peers and communicate within and to cross-functional teams
- Experienced coordinator and supervisor of small- to medium sized crews (approx 6 people)
- Municipal and private properties construction experience
- Affinity to working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours
Special consideration will be given to those applicants who possess experience in the following areas:
- Stonemasonry or streetwork
- Concrete and asphalt work
- Slab saws, trenchers, and tar kettles
- Safety training
