Opportunity: Crew Lead

POSITION: Crew Lead
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct company representative for on-site customer projects. Includes issues management and escalation
  • Personnel management including field labour supervision, assistance and training, safety standards enforcement and administration
  • Initiate formal report to the project manager on a daily/weekly basis
  • Equipment maintenance and resource management, including additional labour procurement when required.
  • Quality control and standards assurance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven leadership and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively motivate peers and communicate within and to cross-functional teams
  • Experienced coordinator and supervisor of small- to medium sized crews (approx 6 people)
  • Municipal and private properties construction experience
  • Affinity to working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours

Special consideration will be given to those applicants who possess experience in the following areas:

  • Stonemasonry or streetwork
  • Concrete and asphalt work
  • Slab saws, trenchers, and tar kettles
  • Safety training
