Terertical Defleckting Conduit (VDC) is a two-part,slim profile conduit system that "zippers" together around the fiber cable. Unlike metallic armored cable, VDC does not require grounding. TeraSpan's VDC ensures ease of application during network builds, and adheres to the philosophy of modularity that makes the VIF system so effective. Used in both soft and hard infrastructures, TeraSpan's VDC is available in three sizes: VDC1 (houses 1 cable), VDC3 (houses 3 cables), and VDC4 (houses 4 cables).

Water Freezing/Expansion Testing
Although VDC partially fills with water post-installation, it does not come apart when the water freezes inside. The VDC will shift slightly, preventing a build-up of pressure from the expanding ice. Thus, the cable is not effected.
